this workshop comes out

of my own personal practice

where i work on exhausting the images

that i know

that are there

at the forefront of my mind

i exhaust them to the point

for something new to appear

in this 4 hour improvisational

workshop you are asked

to exhaust your mind through

continuosly shifting the space in the

room with props, sound, video, and body

you are asked to copy, to repeat, to keep doing

until you’ve exhausted all possibility.

it is once this point is reached

that you create a short solo work

based on either things that you did

or what you saw, or a combination of both.

throughout the improvisation

you are asked to be aware

of your presence

your presence in the space

your presence in relation to the others

where do you want to be looked at from?

what are you curious about?
